trip to Washington DC is scheduled for October 22-24, 2010. Cost:
$265. We need more passengers to fill up the bus! Please see Mrs.
Pirrello in 205 for registration forms. We visit Georgetown, the
Holocaust Memorial, the Smithsonian, Catholic University, Arlington, and tour
the lighted monuments at night. If you can’t travel abroad this year, join us
to visit our beautiful capital while it is still summer temperatures in DC!

WOMEN IN
MOTION MEETING ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2010. We will be discussing the Breast
Cancer Walk that is on October 2nd. Also bring money because we will

MODEL UNITED
NATIONS: This year’s
conference is 11/12-13. Our jeans day is
10/7. Sign up for committees on the
door of room 98 and plan to attend the first
meeting on Friday, 9/10. We are Peru
and Bolivia.

FEED THE
HUNGRY Sunday dinner for the Homeless will be cooked and served on
September 12th. If you would
like to help, please sign up with Ms. Zimmerman in the Info Center. Feed the Hungry volunteers work from 10:45am
until about 2:45 pm.
ZOO BOO application
forms are available from Ms. Zimmerman (in the Info Center). Because the time slots are first come-first
served, it’s a good idea to apply as soon as possible. A training session is
mandatory, but the training time is included with your service hours.
