Baseball, America’s favorite pastime, is played
here as well as it is played at any school in the area.
MPS is a consistent threat to win in the District 10
playoffs and beyond every year. Baseball is offered
at both the varsity and junior varsity levels. Having
our own field enhances the program immensely.
In ’99, we won the Metro league title. In ’02, the
boys captured the District10 AA championship
and advanced to the PIAA Western Finals and were
region champions in ‘09 and District 10 runnersup
in ‘09. In 2010 and 2011, they were the region
and District 10 champions.
