Football, coached by
Matt Morgan, is offered
at both the JV and varsity
levels. MPS made it to the
District 10 playoffs in 2000
and 2001. Players had an
undefeated season, were
region champs and made
the playoffs in 2006. In
2007 they were undefeated
region champions and
captured the school's first
District 10 championship.
The football team has
grown to over 50 players due to the success and
dedication of the coaching staff. The Lakers were also
region champs in 2009 and 2010.
