Girls Tennis continues the tradition with Kelly Erven-Maslar, an MPS alumna and Pennsylvania Hall of Fame tennis player, as a spectacular success at MPS. The team claimed a District 10 championship in ‘00, ‘01, ‘02, ‘03, '04, ‘05, '06, '07 and '08, a Metro championship in ‘01, ‘02, ‘03; and a ‘04 Regional championship. They were the Regional champions in '05, '06, '07 and '08; and Western Semifinalists in ‘04, ’05 and '06. They have also won a state title in doubles in '99 and '06. Boys Tennis lends itself the opportunity for our players to demonstrate their physical and mental toughness in this demanding game
