Academic Testing

Registration bulletins for the SAT and ACT exams are available in the guidance office. 

• For test dates and information on the SAT go to the College Board

• For test dates and information on the ACT go to ACT

• The PSAT is given at MPS and should be taken by all college-bound juniors on the October 21, 2006 test date.  The PSAT is the preliminary version of the SAT and is also used as the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarships.  Sophomores may benefit from taking the PSAT.

• Sophomores are expected to take the PLAN test on November 18, 2006.  This is a preliminary version of the ACT exam and includes a career inventory and a study skills assessment.
