Your Generosity Gives the PAC Project A Huge Boost! (There’s still a long way to go!!)
Thank you, Lakers. Your 121 donations on Erie Gives Day* totaled $33,311! Thanks to you we are well on our way to funding the wheelchair accessible section of the MPS (PAC) Performing Arts Center, which as you read this is in the process of being transformed. In usual Laker style, with Pride and Spirit, you answered the call to help Mercyhurst Prep students.
You still have plenty of opportunities to get involved in your PAC project!
Tickets go on sale September 15 for “Broadway on the Hill”, the one-night-only concert event to raise funds for the MPS PAC. The concert stars Broadway alums Nick Adams, MPS ’01 and Julie Craig, MPS ’03. Look for ticket details in September installments of Laker Life. For information, contact Lisa Nietupski at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can join with many of your fellow Lakers and sponsor a Theatre Seat for $250, an Aisle Seat for $1,000 or a Front Row Seat for $5,000! Donations of all sizes are being accepted towards the project, up to and including PAC naming rights! www.mpslakers.com/next90.
*We send a special thank you to the Erie Community Foundation and its Erie Gives Day partners: GE Transportation, Northwest, Erie Insurance, Presque Isle Downs & Casino, Erie Bank, Scott Enterprises, EE Austin & Son, & McInnis Rolled Rings, for providing the funds which will match a percentage of your donations! Erie Gives Day is a community day of philanthropy that was held on August 9, raising nearly $3.5 Million for 354 great local causes.
