Baltimore Mission Experience

Travel is an important part of the MPS experience, and students have an annual opportunity to travel abroad, participate in the Baltimore Mission Experience, take part in the Holocaust trip or many other opportunities.

The annual summer Baltimore Mission Trip, named after 2006 MPS graduate Anne Ryan, who died tragically in September of 2007 as she was beginning her sophomore year at the University of Pennsylvania, continues to be a positive life-altering experience for its participants as well as for those whom they serve.  MPS students and their chaperones have been bringing Mercy to the people of Baltimore for many years.

The one-week mission experience allows students to spend their days fulfilling service opportunities sponsored by Catholic Charities in Baltimore.   Students keep a journal, spend their evenings processing experiences, building community, and sharing moments of self-discovery.
